Göcek is an impressive town of Fethiye, which takes place South west coast of Turkey in Fethiye gulf. It is only 18 km away from Dalaman İnternational Airport. On east of Göcek Antalya located , on north west Dalaman, Dalyan, Bodrum and Marmaris takes place. Göcek is also very close to Fethiye centre which takes only 30 km. It was a small and quiet village in early 80’s but after tourists discover the beauties of Göcek , it became a popular holiday and yachting city. Göcek has many attractive events for the visitors. Every year in May and November Göcek Yacht Club organizes sailing race by this way many yacht rally fans are arriving to Göcek from different kinds of region and nations. Also because of the geographical location Göcek is a naturel sheltered harbour for the yachtsman and the sailors who are sailing on Mediterranean.
